was actually going to do a recap of 2004 but i found out that i spent most of my time in school for 2004. so nothing to recap. instead, i did this: yes. i know its ugly. but i tried my best to do it with the fireworks pictures i had. MS Paint again. :D HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

was actually supposed to go countdown at ol' blake's house with bbq and lotsa booze but now channel 5 called of the telecast of the nation's countdown so we dont know what to do now. we are most likely going to celebrate online by the debut of our virus...muahahahahaha. yes, i dont know what to do now. there isnt even going to have fireworks. those who paid for the countdown at sentosa must be feeling so ripped off now...hahaha. lucky never buy. anyway, Yahoo! Weather says that its going to rain today. now, imagine yourself at siloso beach now and its only 10 seconds to 2005. 10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! BWAHH (insert tsunami or heavy rain here.) 1! then all the confetti comes down... nah, of course hope that doesnt happen and everyone there will enjoy (making donations) as much as they can. it seems that my family is going to party till the roof comes down anyway. cos there is nobody at home now. my lunch? simple. the finished product: ok, i know it looks like melted cheese but its nice (in fact, melted cheese is quite nice right?). :)

everyday, i stare at this screen for some moments then i write some rubbish which i sometimes dont even understand. its not a very nice sight. as you can see, its made up of mostly white which strain my eyes. then there is also the beige(?) which i hate. well, who am i to complain since i dont a server to call my own...haizzzz. geez, realize that i havent used that word in a while. anyway, i found some satellite pictures of sri lanka of the tsunami. its freaking scary. especially the backwash and then rushing into the mainland. this is the normal beach. the backwash, or the water being sucked back. raging waters. the aftermath. there goes another post where i am not very sure what i am talking about....

come to think of it, im pretty lucky. why? if you could recall, it was just two weeks ago when i was at phuket. while i was there, i still went jet ski out alone on the beach. can you imagine what would have happened if the tsunami happened then? no, i would not be riding the damn waves. through this disaster, we can see that all modern technology is useless against the power mama nature has. many people i know said that they were having a bad holiday, a bad christmas. can you even think of those who lost their loved ones felt? think of how lucky you are compared to them. can you imagine that you just woke up on boxing day (in this case, 26th dec) and you received a call saying that your relative was badly affected by the earthquake? i just saw a news footage of all those people lying dead and covered up and some who are floating on the sea. well, im just saying all this because some of us just dont realise how lucky we are. during the major blackout this year, did you whine that there was no aircon? no fan? no light? just think about it... *my dearest condolences to all those who lost their loved ones to the tsunami/earthquake.*

last night before i went into deep sleep, i tossed and turned in my bed. then inner voice asked me: hav u tot of how long ur blog wil last? that was one question that i never thought about. right now im motivated to blog cos of the audience. yes, you. then when school reopens, everyone would be busy. i may not be able to blog so often like now and you may also not be able to read my blog so often like now. then this blog will die a slow and painful death and be forgotten forever... well, i do not want that kind of ending so i promise you that i will blog at least 4 times a week when school reopens, even if its just how im getting along...

went to watch kung fu hustle with yilong and derek today. quite funny movie actually. after movie went to eat tepanyaki. but before movie went with them and melvin to buy his textbooks (which reminds me that i havent got any textbook or workbook and uniform). well, serangoon garden sec looks kinda high tech. you know why? cos they have so many security cameras there, even at the entrance of the toilets. ah well, but they dont have air-conditioned hall :P . that was taken at escape. you know when you are waiting for the indoor roller coaster, you will be led into a room with black light (or uv light? those that makes your fingernails, teeth and eyes glow in the dark?)? well, this was taken there. well, its crappy quality cos its not a s700i. man, i dont know why i keep mentioning the s700i. maybe its cos i want one (its very obvious). anyway, you all will not see anymore pics from my phone till i get my new data cable cos the old one's pretty fried up. gawd. im hoping to have 500 pageloads by the end of this year. im not going to reveal numbers now cos i dont want people to keep refreshing the page just to make me happy. well, all i can say is that with the current flow of audience, im pretty sure i can get 500 pageloads by new year. will keep all of you updated!

well, i was kinda bored just now after getting all the pictures done. so i went to suntec to walk around... okok, actually i was shopping. window shopping only. didnt buy anything cos i am broke after eating sakae. o well, after window shopping was feeling a little hungry and tired so went to gelare and had a little snack (hehe)... ordered a snapple and a sundae waffle basket: ok, i ate a spoonful before remembering to take a picture. thats why there is a hole in the ice cream? can see? its at the bottom. heres the real fact from my snapple bottle cap: a queen bee can lay 800-1500 eggs per day. ok, after eating walked around for a little while before going home. anyway, on the way home, saw the usual: people sleeping on public transport: they really can sleep..... anyway, at farrer park, this woman woke up and i thought that she was going to alight. but NO, she went to the seat opposite to get more comfortable...wth....: w00ts...2 more days to christmas!!

went out with yilong and han jie today. we went to watch oceans twelve. nice movie, nice plot, but a little confusing. and be sure to watch oceans eleven before you watch the movie if not you wont have the slightest idea what some parts are about. so we went to bugis to watch. as usual, there were little kids at the fountain: yes. i know its of crappy quality and blur cos i zoomed in like siao. well, thats the prob with fixed-focal length cameras. unlike some who have a s700i and gets perfect focus everytime. so after movie went to sakae. and han jie was so disgusting. we were eating then someone cracked a joke and han jie was drinking water and he was laughing so hard he had to spit the water out (had no idea why he has to do that). so he quickly found a bowl and spit inside, how disgusting. heres him after spitting and taking another sip of water: anyway, hes wearing a cap cos his hair was ultra short. had no idea why he cut his hair till so short. cancer? haha.. just kiddin' so after sakae went arcade to play daytona then went home. han jie took train home while yilong and i took 133. it was a fucking long ride. and i hate long bus/mrt rides. why? cos many people would be sleeping. wonder how they ever sleep on a bus/mrt till so *peacefully*. arent they scared that they will miss their stops? well, that is yilong sleeping on the bus. had no idea why the picture turned out so greenish. maybe there was a sprit lurking around at that time? nah, i was lazy to turn on night mode...

yesterday night i saw my table and thought it was quite messy, so i cleared it. then when i was about to leave, i turned my head and saw a bunch of files. here it is: the fat and black one is the maths file...o well, so i took everything out and it became this: some of the files can still be used like the science file (yes, we have a science file!!! you forgot about it?), lit file and chinese file. look at the whole year's work piled together: after clearing them, i saw another pile of papers: well, cant believe that i kept almost every copy of the friday weekly. then there's also readers digest (nicely fanned out to take pictures again): and not forgetting my compo books: i dont really know what to do with my compo books. all the wonderful stories i wrote is in there. maybe i will sell it on ebay...hahahahahahahaha was hungry after all that clearing and went to the fridge to look for something to eat look at what i found: DURIANS!!!!! w00t! ok...those are actually dessert for dinner but nobody could finish them... o...end of another post...BYEEEE!

there is nothing much for me to blog about other than describing what i did yesterday... went to bugis yesterday, alone, to search for christmas presents. bought some presents as well as some materials to make presents...one thing when shopping for presents is that i dont know what to get for guys. there isnt much you could get for a guy other than just a christmas card. its a different story when girls get guys a present. there is so many choices a girl could choose. and it doesnt have to be "manly". but when a guy wants to give a guy a present: 1) cannot get girly stuff 2) the guy who gets the present may get the wrong idea. so i just chose some cards and for the others, im going to send an e-card...haha, save money (but its the thought that counts. right?) anyway, since i was at bugis, went window shopping at topman and saw the jacket that sly was wearing during the spectacular 8 results show. the price??? $128!!! can you imagine? one hundred and twenty eight f**king dollars for a jacket?!

*tip: never go shopping on a Sunday. in fact, never go out on a sunday, stay at home and be a good boy/girl/gay/lesbian/bastard/bitch.....* yesterday went out to search for the flexi cable for my phone. in case you didnt know, today is the third week i lived without my phone...yea...3 weeks without it already. i saw the cable being sold on the internet but is out of stock for US$18. that is S$29.3940 according to yahoo's currency converter: http://finance.yahoo.com/currency. it is much cheaper than $58. so i went out hoping to find one at one of the cellphone repair shops. i went to a few at queensway, at changi, at AMK, BUT all of them said that they have run out of stock for the cable. WTF?! you mean the whole world is in shortage of the flexi cable for my phone?! man, the Koreans need to STOP developing nuclear warheads and make more of the cables!!! while finding the cable, i also went shopping and now i've become $72.80 poorer...poor me. bought some new clothes and jeans for...o well, might as well tell you all now. i'll be going on cruise from 12th till 15th...so all of you please remember to miss me...haha. now i just hope to get the cable off the net ASAP.

while channel surfing for porn(which is impossible), i came across Sesame Street. there was some kind of purple magician like puppet, who was no doubt blind, due to the lack of eyes. he was about to perform a magic trick, when he cried out "Allah peanut butter and sandwiches!" i nearly threw the tv out the window. allah? doesnt that mean he's linked with Al-Qaeda?! holy shit, notify the CIA, we'll bomb him on the pretense of him being a terrorist. we can be red-faced later when new evidence shows that he has nothing to do with Al-Qaeda, and that he was just trying to entertain kids between the ages of 2-6. We'll still detain him indefinitely, though. ------------------------------------------ anyway, got this frickin' flu and cough since yesterday and its giving me headache now. can you imagine what i had to postpone just because of it??? i had planned to go shopping yesterday since i got my allowance on thursday. and yesterday when i woke up - terrible flu which made me dont feel like going out at all. and its still here today so i just dont feel like going anywhere other than slacking at home...

got into the christmas mood suddenly and decided to add some snow and a nice christmas carol to the site. ive been too busy and forgot when my blog got 1-week old, and now its 2-weeks old!!! o well, happy "2-weeks old" to you!

i just got the news that the new version of msn messenger had a public beta release yesterday. i had used it before it was released to the public but didnt quite like some of the features, especially the "winks" feature. if youre wondering what is that, download a public beta version and check it out yourself. btw i may try it out this time as a public beta release means that it will be more stable. download it directly from microsoft here.

i was in a restaurant tonight, and so many things pissed me off that i had to slit my neck to release blood pressure. feeling kinda faint....... anyway, I'm sure these things would piss you off good too. #1 Mr "im-the-only-one-in-the-restaurant" they're obnoxious. they're loud. you know what the hell im talking about: those people who yell when they're carrying out a normal conversation. is that really necessary? do they think that the person sitting across the table is deaf? get some class, asshole. the entire restaurant doesnt need to know your Aunt May has cervical cancer. #2 The Satanic children it may be the children who are the annoyance, but my beef is with the parents on this one. they bring their kids to semi-classy restaurant, and they dont even move an ass hair to try and control them. tonight, this bratty devil-child kept clanking his chopsticks together over and over again. TAK-TAK-TAK. TAK-TAK-TAK. TAK-TAK-TAK. i felt like throwing the boiling tea at him. what were the parents doing? #3 The peeping toms this one has happened to me countless times. people come in, and they STARE at what you are eating. their eyes are trained at your food. then they POINT to it and start yapping, as if you arent even there. it happens when people are seated too close to your table too. they just STARE and never acknowledge your existance. then the waiters come in. thats when the fun starts. you have an entire table of people, as well as the frickin' waiter, pointing and looking at your food and discussing whether they want to order it. I'M NOT A GODDAMNED ANIMAL, SHITHEADS! STOP STARING! i felt like saying "you want this, do you? DO YOU?!??!", and start force-feeding them whatever i was eating. eh, they can have it. lost my appetite after all the staring and pointing. #4 The yappy waitresses im not being sexist here, but they're always women. two waitresses would stand in one corner and yap and yap and yap about yesterday night's Sex in the City or something, and totally ignore you. you can whistle, you can light a magnesium flare, and they still wouldnt even look in your general direction. i tried throwing a plate at one once, and all she did was dodge the plate and continue talking. these people should be fired. your boss is paying you to wait tables, not make idle chatter. idiots. #5 Shame of the Nation with the above being said, you still have to excercise a certain degree of self control when it comes to getting the waiter's/waitress' attention. do not be a stone-age dumbass. here's what i mean: a couple of years ago i was in a restaurant. it was pretty crowded, and you had to wait awhile to be...waited upon. apparently, this guy had the patience of a hair brush, and he promptly raised his hand. in his clenched palm was a lit lighter. how unclassy and uncivilized is that?! be it at Pizza Hut or Le Gilded Truffle, YOU NEVER DO THAT. the only times you are allowed to light a lighter is when 1)you want to smoke or 2) you want to commit random acts of arson. restaurant's should have a hose with water at 120psi for patrons like that. they need to be taught a lesson by being bruised by some H2O. excuse me, i need to treat this gash in my neck before i pass oooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu....

as we all know (we should know), taufik, the guy who sings with his nose, is our singapore idol. i have nothing much to say about him, other than that he makes a song sound so complicated. both of them sang the same song and i couldnt make out what he was singing. o well, actually i have thought up of some brilliant posts to post if sly had won, but thanks to taufik, you all arent gonna see it. having said that, i can expect to get 50 hate mails. calculated working shown below: 121+28+54+31 =50 hate mails ok ok, enough of jokes. actually i was about to think up something to write about taufik, but my brain seems to be in the i-dont-give-a-shit mood today, so you should be happy that i bothered to update. anyway, congratulations taufik. hope you will not lose singapore's face :P

look at the date at the header bar. does it remind you that you have something on today? yes. today is an important day for the whole nation, or at least half of it. after 12 days of money earning, fans are going to spend it all tonight voting for their favourite. half the nation (or 2 million) people, will either be at home watching the live telecast, or will be at the indoor stadium. i just read from the papers that the president will be there too. but what the hell is he going to do there??? everybody is getting so ______ (cant find the word to describe it) about this idol thing. it has become the talk of the town and if you will feel left out if you dont know a thing about it. but i cant find anything to talk about other than just asking people to send lots of sms or call thier friend while people are voting so there is a chance of the system crashing and not registering the votes and everyone will be panicking (especially Gurmit). MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA. actually, all the telcos have reassured everyone that that wouldnt happen, but who knows.....
